We offer both face-to-face and telehealth appointments.

Also please note on some days some doctors are working from home so they can only do telehealth appointments on those days, if you are unsure please check with reception.

To ensure we run an efficient and effective practice, we charge a penalty fee for patients who do not show up for their appointments or cancel late or for phone consults after making 3 attempts to call you. If you are unable to make your appointment, please inform us a minimum of 2 hours prior to the appointment time to avoid fee.

MIXED BILLING:

Since 1st July 2022 we have moved to private billing hence there will be out of pocket fee for most appointments. For kids 15 & under and concession card holders with an appointment most GPs bulk bill their visits. For the appointments that attract an out of pocket fee you will have to pay full fee on the day and claim any rebate back from Medicare. We can help you claim your Medicare rebate instantly if you have a plastic debit card linked to your savings/cheque account.

Please check our website fee section for more information.

We are required to fulfil our ethical and legal responsibilities, we therefore require that you attend your doctor in order to receive prescriptions for your medications (if your regular doctor is not available, another of our doctors will be happy to assist).

We are able to issue a medical certificate after an examination by one of our doctors. You will therefore need to make an appointment for your medical certificate with your doctor in person.

All work cover consultations must be paid in Cash/Eftpos/Credit Card by the patient on the day of consultation (unless a confirmation is received from an employer to accept the account)

Please enquire with our staff for an appointment for a Health Assessment and Care Plan.

This medical practice uses the Telephone Interpreter Service when required. We can arrange an “over the phone” service or an “on site” service with 48 hours notice.

Our staff DO NOT give results over the phone. If your results have come back and your Doctor needs to see you, our staff will call you and arrange an appointment for you. Alternatively, you may make an appointment for a few days after you have had your tests done to discuss the results with your Doctor.

Our Doctors are unable to take telephone calls while attending to patients, if you require to speak to your Doctor, our staff will take a message and the Doctor will call you back, usually at the end of the session. At the moment, due to privacy issues, our Doctors are not able to discuss personal information via email or text.

Our Practice is committed to Preventive Care. We may issue you with a reminder notice from time to time offering you preventive health services appropriate for your care. An example of this would be a Pap Smear or Annual Flu Vaccination reminder. If you do not wish to be a part of this system, please let us know at the reception.
