If you have any flu like symptoms you can book a telehealth appointment in the first instance and get advice over a video or an audio call. Sorry for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding.

Also please note on some days some doctors are working from home so they can only do telehealth appointments on those days, if you are unsure please check with reception.

To ensure we run an efficient and effective practice, we have implemented a new fee policy from 1st August 2018 in regards to those who do not show up for their appointments or cancel late. If you are unable to make your appointment, please inform us a minimum of 2 hours prior to the appointment time to avoid fee.

Please ensure to complete personal details sections of medical forms prior to your visit to the Doctor.

BULK BILLING:

Since 1st July 2022 we have moved to private billing hence there will be out of pocket fee for most appointments. For the appointments that attract an out of pocket fee you will have to pay full fee on the day and claim any rebate back from Medicare. We can help you claim your Medicare rebate instantly if you have a plastic debit card linked to your savings/cheque account.

Please check our website fee section for more information.

The fee charged by pathology is completely independent of the medical centre.

Our Doctors may refer you for tests/x-rays/scans or onto a Specialist. It is your responsibility to check into any costs and cover any fees/charges these services may involve.

Many services from pathologies / radiologies and other providers attract a fee. This is not controlled by Palmers Medical Centre, please check with the relevant provider for their fee list.
