The practising doctors at Palmers Medical Centre do MIXED BILLING, fee charged for consultations. Some GPS, specialists and allied health fees are different to others.
Please note that our fee is adjusted as per Medicare fee changes that came into effect from 1st July 2024. Please check our fee section for the new fee.
Please note that from 1st March 2024 we will have a different fee model for Dr Sree.
The changes are
1. All patients including kids and concession card holders will be charged the same gap fee as regular patients i.e .$30 during regular hours and $40 during afterhours.
2. Long consultations will be charged a gap fee of $40 at all times.
Please note that immunisations on NIP and all care plans & health assessments will still be bulk billed.

The doctors practising at Palmers Medical Centre offer mixed billing – hence there will be an out of pocket fee of $30 for consults during
week days 8am to 8pm & $40 during weekends, public holidays and weekdays after 8pm.
Patients 15 years and under, with an appointment are bulk billed at all times, including weekends.
Patients with valid concession cards will be bulk billed during week days 8am to 8pm, and charged $40 out of pocket fee during weekends, public holidays and weekdays after 8pm.
Patients without an appointment – are charged $40 out of pocket fee at all times.
ALL WEEKEND AND PUBLIC HOLIDAY APPOINTMENTS FOR PATIENTS OVER 15 ATTRACT AN OUT OF POCKET FEE of $40.
Late cancellation fee (if cancelled under 2 hours) and Did Not Attend fee of $30 to $60 will apply.
For some appointment types your credit card details are taken for auto post payments.

The doctors at Palmers Medical in Western Melbourne are highly trained medical team who take great care of the health of their patients – from birth to the elderly. The GP’s will walk through your health journey with you, giving you the most effective care plan or treatment to bring you the best health outcomes.
Some of their specialist medical services include driving medicals, onsite pathology, onsite cardiology consultations, iron infusions, implanon insertions/excisions, They also offer services for patients who are hard of hearing or need an interpreter.

Palmers Medical Centre (PMC) doctors aims to provide holistic care and a promise of quality professional service to all patients by everyone. Ethical health care practices and respect for the rights of patients are at the core of palmers medical philosophy.
The doctors at PMC can run diagnostic testing and monitor chronic disease directly from our medical centre. However we DO NOT do COVID Testing onsite.
Practising doctors and reception/nursing staff are highly experienced and many have a special interest in different fields, providing thier patient with a holistic service.
Telehealth appointments are available, especially for those with flu like symptoms, or high risk patients. Telehealth not available at all times or by all doctors. Some patient are not eligible for Telehealth due to Medicare rules.

If you are low on iron and need an infusion, we have doctors available who offer Iron Infusions onsite at the clinic. Please call reception to enquire if you are interested. Please note that Private Fees apply for iron infusions.
